Saudi Food and Drugs Authority Warns about 38 Zein Al-Atat Products

SFDA inspectors have recalled several of Zein El-Atat Factory products and subjected them to chemical analysis, after which several notes were pointed on 38 Lebanese products.

These products are promoted with medical claims that have not been evaluated and studied to prove their safety and effectiveness and to be approved by the SFDA, not to mention the medical harm or the diseases they may cause, all of which are considered as violations to the rule of pharmaceutical facilities and products. Therefore, the SFDA informed the related authorities to recall these products, suspend their ditribution, and to apply necessary procedures on whoever sells or promotes them. The SFDA advises the consumers not to be taken in by such misleading claims.

The above mentioned products are:

Psoriasis Cream
Medical Claim: Cures psoriasis as well as all types of burns and relieves pain.
