I was eight years old, when my father and his friends used to take me along to hunting trips. While adults were hunting, I used to spend the time looking at herbs: I used to pick them without knowing what they really were ... I often asked old people about these herbs and they used to tell me in details about each and every one: to which special kind it belonged and what its benefits were. My grandfather had a great knowledge in Arabic medicine and I used to help him sometimes. After his death, he left me a book about herbs and on how to heal through them. But my curiosity wasn't satisfied by what I had learned from my grandfather, I therefore traveled to Morocco, Africa and China to have a wider and deeper knowledge about the world of herbs. With the years passing by, I became widely known through the formulas I was offering to people who came in crowds to my house until I was unable to go out.
